Numbers Executive is supporting a prominent private equity house, boasting a an established investment portfolio and significant stores of deployable funds for new investments. Due to continued growth, an Associate is sought to join its Private Equity team in Melbourne.
The Opportunity
The Private Equity Associate will support the evaluation of investment opportunities, conduct sector research, support the development of investment recommendations, support work-streams associated with the execution of investments and participate in ensuing commercial negotiations. The Associate will also support the ongoing management of the group's existing portfolio investments.
Required Skills & Experience
You have 2-6 years of professional work experience gained within the M&A team of an Investment Bank, independent M&A adviser, Private Equity Investor or comparable private equity house of equal standing. In addition we require applicants with:
- exceptional communication skills (written & oral)
- strong financial modelling & financial analysis skills
- experience managing various workstreams associated with transactions
- high levels of commercial acumen, enthusiasm and curiosity
- an exceptional academic record in a relevant finance or commerce degree
- a desire to work in a high-performing and and collegiate investment house
