This is an opportunity to join a multinational ASX Corporate that owns and manages a large portfolio of infrastructure assets. Currently, an Associate is sought to join its Corporate Finance team in Sydney.
This is an opportunity to join a multinational ASX Corporate that owns and manages a large portfolio of infrastructure assets. Currently, an Associate is sought to join its Corporate Finance team in Sydney.
The Opportunity
The Corporate Finance team is responsible for supporting the analysis of greenfield developments, brownfield acquisitions and the ongoing analysis of an existing portfolio of infrastructure assets at both an asset and a consolidated level.
As an Associate within the team, responsibilities include owning, maintaining and developing financial models that provide outputs in relation to debt, valuation, cash flow and a raft of scenario analysis that support strategic investment decisions and the analysis of projected earnings, etc.
Furthermore, the Associate will participate in the presentation of outputs to various internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
It is essential that you have demonstrable experience developing financial models that have been used to evaluate the investment in, and capital structuring of infrastructure assets that has likely been gained within the Corporate Finance team of a Chartered Accounting firm, the M&A team within an Investment Bank / Adviser or a comparable corporate that maintains a portfolio approach to investments in real assets.
Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding academics in a relevant commerce degree (ideally with post-graduate qualifications in corporate finance or accounting) are also preferred.
