Numbers Executive is currently supporting an international financial group to appoint an ESG Analyst to the Sydney based ESG Finance team.

The opportunity

Supporting the senior members of the team, the ESG Analyst will participate in the origination and structuring of ESG finance transactions.  This will involve working with various sector teams and product areas to develop and market ESG Finance products including loans and bonds.  Key responsibilities will include

• Research and analytics to support origination activities
• Maintain relationships with ESG Sector Stakeholders
• Origin support for coverage and product teams
• Transaction support for ESG Finance deal teams across ESG structuring roles, social, green & sustainability linked loans and bonds
• Leadership of the ESG corporate communications strategy

Required skills & experience

The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified and likely in the first few years of their career with exposure to ESG from either a financing, corporate or advisory environment.  Strong research and analytical skills will be required and an understanding of finance structure and debt markets will be looked upon favourably.  Most importantly, we are looking for a highly passionate and driven Analyst, motivated by the opportunity to drive better environmental and social outcomes across the corporate landscape.
