Our client is seeking to hire at Senior Analyst level to join their growing Melbourne team. This role sits within their highly active investments team. 

Senior Analysts are actively involved in all aspects of the investment process from investment thesis formation, to investment structuring and closing, to portfolio monitoring and support, through exit. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting industry research to develop and test investment theses;
• Creating financial models with scenarios involving different investment, capital structure, and acquisition assumptions;
• Developing materials that present the deal team’s thesis to the investment committee;
• Conducting company due diligence;
• Assisting in portfolio company performance monitoring and financing activities; and
• Supporting strategic initiatives at portfolio companies.

You will be a high-performing candidate with c 3-4 years of Corporate Finance (eg - Big 4 M&A team), Investment Banking, Private Equity, or other M&A / Investments related experience, in addition to your stellar academic track record.
